Case 9: New Strategy for Film Services

Initial Situation: 

  • The company offers 2 innovative products to the film making industry, but is making losses since years. The fnancial situation is getting tighter.

What was done: 

  • Analysis of the current situation, including the market players, their interests, of the product opportunities and risks, the likely neccessary funds. 
  • Resulting in a new strategy: It appears unlikely that the company is able to foster further developments of both product lines in parallel. Better seems to find a synergetic partner to either co-develope or to sell him one of the product lines.
